Lunatics and Princesses

(Have to go to work in fifteen minutes- and I'm not even dressed yet. wOOt. Maybe I'll just go as I am, since I'm gonna get drooled on anyway.)

I've been on this Kingdom of Heaven kick ever since I saw it again last week with my sister. Guess what? All of the people in that movie were real people- they just got their roles mixed up. For instance, Balian of Ibelin wanted to marry Sibylla's mother at one point or something, got told off, and went and supported the other guys.

Baldwin IV really was that kickass, and Sibylla really did marry Guy de Luisangnon (who was still an asshole, and really did attack that caravan.) However, Sibylla did not get to run off to France with Orlando Bloom in the end- she died two years after the movie takes place of some epidemic or other, along with her and Guy's two daughters. Her son later became King (Baldwin V.)

The point is, the CSI/KOH plotbunnies are staring at me in a menacing way from under my dresser. This could be very, very interesting.

Carol was almost in tears, and then got all up on Mom's ass about this and that and the other thing. Whatever. I don't really care. The front looked good and that's what matters, and people started buying donuts there again and that matters more.

I ate a hamburger from McDonald's and I think I'm gonna be sick.

And am trying to work, but so far am not succeeding.

I would be able to write so much more if I had a laptop. Then I could acutally go places and write, since I always get writer's block at this stupid table. It is an area that does not lend itself to writing.

Marie Antoinette was so fucking cool. But no one realizes this.

Back to work now, I suppose. Gonna muddle through with typical British reserve.

Speaking of which, my great grandfather times X (who arrived on the Mayflower) was later hung for witchcraft in the Salem Witch Trials. O_o

Except it wasn't in Salem. It was the next town over or something. HEE!!! It runs in the family.
