[Poll #447297]

...I feel presumptuous putting Ichiko on that list, but I really, really like it. Any comments on this issue? Umeka-san? Aiko-san?

I already responded to the poll, but I like the idea of Ichikoto. *giggle* I actually thought of going with Ichi also! *blush*

Yuki means snow. Ayako I believe means autumn.
I think you will have a hard time finding a name that means:
"one who's radiant beauty is like the sun's first light on an Irish meadow whose cheeks are as soft as the skin of a peach, whose laughter is that of an innocent child, one who dances and flits about like a summer fairy"

Miss ya Empress Ariana *hug* Hope all is well! Bet you are beating men off your arms like flies "Knock it off! *slap* grrrr Don't make me use my toepick!!!!" hee hee ttys

The jury's still out on the name- I really, really can't decide, although Ichikoto is in the finally three. (Geisha Idol! NOOOOOOO!!!! lol)

Just let me know when you want to work on it, or if you want my help at all. Names are one of my hobbies, and so is research, so it's right up my alley :)

I chose at random; whatever you call yourself, will most likely be perfectly suited for the unique individual you are. (Unless it's Peggy Ann. I just don't like the name, and you are no Peggy Ann.)

Whatever you change you're name to, it shall be fine.

Hey, actually I was thinking about it... if you're feeling austentatious for using "ichi" in the same vein, with the same kanji as Liza Dalby, there's another option for kanji for "ichi" which is commonly used. You can use "市" and it means "city". So there's another option, is changing the kanji and still keeping "ichi". Wasn't sure if you thought of that or not!! ^^;

OH MY GOD THAT IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!!!

*chills out* Okay, that makes me absoultely ecstatic, because I am obsessed with cities (especially my hometown. <3 NYC ;)

So... City Harp... what do you think?

-and how do you post kanji in your journal like that?

Wow, I'm so glad you like the idea!! Anyway, as far as kanji, my language converter doesn't work right on my computer, so what I do is I go to a translation site, and if I know what the word is I type it in in English and then cut and paste the kanji. This is a great one you can use:
http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/wwwjdic.html

and another:
http://world.altavista.com/

You can cut and paste things into your journal. ^^
