I feel mildly ill. And I need some hand lotion, desperately.
The only good thing that happened this weekend was that I got the sleep I needed. And I got to watch part of Big Trouble in Little China last night while Dad and I ate dinner.
The bad thing that happened was that I got my computer back- only to discover that Verizon doesn't support Linux systems for their DSL setups. Which means I've got a useless box sitting on my drafting table.
I. Hate. Linux.
Alot.
Barely slept last night, too. Probably because I slept too much over the weekend. At any rate, I tossed and turned for hours, and when I got up this morning I had SleepOveratEriks!Christine hair. Which is really, really funny because my hair is poker straight, and if anything, tends to flatten out when I sleep. I think I've woken up with it curly and all over the place only once before in my life. So at least I spent the morning laughing.
Until I got to school and checked a couple of websites for some schools I want to try to transfer to. [xxxxxxx] University isn't taking transfer students until the fall of 2006. This really sucks because I'd really like to try to get into that school, and to do that, I'd have to skip the summer and next fall semesters, because they don't accept transfer students with more than a year and a half of credits or something stupid like that. Missing more school isn't worth it to me. Mom told me to apply to [xxxxxxx], which is taking transfer students, but I don't want to go there. There're a couple of other places I'd be interested in going, but I'd have to change my major to something English based, which would be okay except it's one giant hell of a detour since I'd be going back to school for forensics anyway. Ah, hell. I should probably just talk to my advisor about it and see what he has to say.
