Over breakfast this morning he told me that I should learn more torch songs, so that if I ever get stuck in Singapore with no friends and no money I can work my way home as a lounge singer as opposed to selling myself into prostitution.
Everything's hit the fan at work. More on this tomorrow, when the major players are back in for the week.
Legolas poked Heather in the back. She turned around in the seat and glared at him; he knew she didn't like it when her typing was interrupted.
"You've got visitors," he said.
"What are you talking about?" Heather replied, somewhat confused as to who was visiting, since Kate had just left about fifteen minutes before.
Legolas jerked his head at the two elves sitting on her bed, looking with interest at a light-up picture of Our Lady of Fatima.
Heather blinked. "I didn't invite them," she said, mystified. Turning back towards Legolas, she asked, "Did you?"
"No. I don't hang out with the Twins."
"The Twins..." Suddenly it dawned on Heather just who had dropped in. Making a face, she faced the monitor and resumed typing. I don't need this right now, she thought. She had enough on her hands with Legolas trailing her most of the time. She didn't need Elladan and Elrohir tagging along as well...
Hooray! Two new additions to my imaginary menagerie. What in the hell am I going to do with them... or myself, aside from take large doses of medication to make them all go away?
