My mom was Cathrine the Great. I believe her- if you ever met her you'd understand. My dad was a Mountain Man. How those two wound up together I'll never guess. Anyway, my dad needs to lay off on the Westerns. He's reading a really big one now and all he's talking about lately is beef jerky and killing Comanchees.

Mom's doing mine tomorrow. I hope I was something cool. Something better than my grandmother- in a past life she was in the Alps, and walked off a cliff and died.
She was only four when she walked off the cliff, but still.
