I've designed a new plan for myself, one that puts my dancing where it should be: right up front. I was setting the table and much to my horror found that I can no longer get my arabesque up as high as I used to. Unacceptable. So, here is the new routine:

6:00- Get up, shower, stretch, weights, whatever else needs to get done.

9:00- Work.

5:00- Home, dinner, whatever.

7:00- Dance. 1/2 hour stretching, 1/2 hour barre work, 1 hour of leaping madly around my living room.

9:00- My ass is on the computer working some more.

11:00- Sleepy time.

This will have to do until I start dance classes again. Hell, it worked for most of my life, shouldn't stop now. I could always take classes at the studio two blocks down, but I never really got over how the instructor taught the stupid, basic, feet positions wrong. She's more jazz focused anyway- way too many sequins, geared towards middle schoolers and dance competitions. Ugh.

Of course, this starts Sunday as a) tomorrow and Saturday night I'm out and b) what's the point in starting now if I'm just going to stop for two days?

I heart having room to dance in in my house :-D

Still working on Chapter One. Muah.

Anyone out there willing to teach me pointe work? I'll give you all the money I have.

I miss skating, dammit. I really miss it.
