nirix5What the hell is going on with Nelys? I am *so* out of the loop. She'll just have to explain it all to me when she gets back.
Arrangements are almost done for Darkshade to go diving with me. We're taking a quick detour to Mother's palace on the outskirts of the City. I got the breathing spell, the pressure spell, and the translator today. Now Darkshade will be able to understand us all underwater, since we don't use Common. In fact, no one on my mother's side even has a tongue. My cousins still make fun of me for having one, but it's because of my dad... he's a sea elf, not a merman, so he's got a tongue... arrgh. I can talk with everything but the bubbles. Which basically means I'm tone deaf in *that* language. (Making certain bubbles is like singing.)
Finished cleaning my room today. Came across my old harp, which I guess I should really dust off. I haven't practiced in ages, but I'd bet hands down that I could still drown a few sailors with it.
Also started work on a new tapestry. Very fun. Very dull, actually, with everyone gone, but, what're ya gonna do.
Pssh. Forget this. I'm going clubbing. I'm in with a few of the bouncers at 121 in Minas Tirith, plus I heard that *N'ELF is gonna be there. We'll see.
