So I've been here, creepin on all of your posts, like a creeper. Because that is what I do best. Creep, I mean.

I took June off from everything, practically. I started work at my summer job and planned and executed Nana's 80th birthday party, but that's about it, unless you count hanging out with the Aussies on my nightly walks. Also I read a lot of books that didn't have big words or theory in them.

Now it's July and I have to jump back into society and hit the ground running. I have three costumes to make for Otakon and one to revamp, Harry Potter is coming out, Jay's family is coming to Syracuse for a day trip, I've got to meet with professors over stuff for next fall, and I'm going to have slides to work on. Although I don't know what that last entails, exactly. I should probably ask Laurel.

Also have to start back up with Greek, and reviewing Latin. Wheeeeeee.

Side note: thinking about taking a couple of years off before doing my PhD to get a degree in hand embroidery. Someone should probably talk me out of this. Whoo boy.

I can't wait til August. If anyone wants to go on a Last of the Mohicans themed camping trip- and by 'camping trip' I really mean 'forced march from Albany to Fort William Henry,' let me know.

That'd depend on the weekend/week in August, since Allie's coming the week of the 15th, and I think I have to be at one day of WRIT 111 orientation at some point the week after.

I do, however, have a tent, a backpack (like a *real* one) and an uber small sleeping bag to fit in the backpack. And I think there's a messkit somewhere too.

Sweet. It will probably be one of the last weekends in the month, I'm not sure which one yet (I think there are two weekends in the 20's but I don't have a calendar in front of me.) Are we still on for the midnight showing of HP7 in Bing?

We are so on for HP7. With Laurel. And at least four other people. I want to buy tickets in a block to make sure we're all in the same theater. Upper Front, right? Because Vestal's the shitty one?

When I checked with fandango the other day, two showings were still open there. Are you able to get the tickets, and can I mail you a check or direct deposit $ into your account for 3 of them?
