Jade and I were sitting on the couch watching The Price Is Right when it came across the ticker at the bottom of the screen. We weren't evacuated or anything- too far out of the way, really. Still close, though. Hell.

They didn't actually interrupt The Price Is Right, they just flashed the bottom of the screen? lol.

We've been hit by plauge. It's taken Jason out for damn near a week and the night before last Re woke up in the middle of the night with a high fever, but after pumping her full of baby Tyenol yesterday, she seems to be mostly over it...I guess her flu shot was kinda useful.

*hugs* I will. Not fallout as far as the university people are concerned... a couple of grad students were involved, and a couple of friends of friends of friends that I know through the Muslim community. It's all very, very sad.
