Me: So how am I supposed to pick an OB anyway? Sharon: Ask your gynecologist for a referral. Me: *silence* Sharon: *gives me an odd questioning look* Me: ...I'm supposed to have a gynecologist?
And lastly, Re: Doctors and insurance companies...INSURANCE COMPANIES ARE THE SPAWN OF SATAN! I just had a row with my insurance because after 4 months of happily paying the doctor, they decided they didn't want to anymore and I was suddenly looking at an almost $900 bill in my name...got the bastards to pay it and agree to keep paying again, but it took nearly a month.
As for seeing the doctor...besides the OB, I haven't seen a doctor since my college physical last year...before that I can't remember the last time I saw one. I don't go unless I'm dying either, so don't feel bad.
