Who got famous along with this other geek via the front page of the Post-Standard for dressing up* for the midnight showing of Star Wars. Not to be confused with this geek, who was also there but wound up on the news instead of in the paper, or this geek, who is not famous but infamous. Unless of course someone else is a "crazy geek who wanders around OCC with long, flowing brown hair and a red lightsaber."

(Quinn's comment on being called geeky through the grapevine? "WHOA!!! They said my hair was flowing? Really?" ...and he proudly tossed his [flowing] hair over his shoulder.)

Okay. STAR WARS. WAS. FUCKING. AWESOME.

My brain is still kind of fried, so if you want a great review of this movie (and one that I happen to agree with entirely), go check out Adraefan's review. It's even got pretty, pretty pictures.

Hehe. Random ghetto moment: when we walked into the (now stadium OMG!) theater, a bunch of people that we passed were like, "Yo yo yo! Check out that Sith dude! Word, etc. etc," talking about Matt and Tom and I. And then one of them points to me and goes, "Look, it's Queen Amidilly!"

I kid you not. Queen Amidilly is in the hizzouse fo shizzle, yo.

He was not to happy that I went back to Quinn's place instead of coming home. However, no one can fault my logic.

A) I am 22 years old- therefore, capable of making my own decisions.
B) I am 22 years old, and like some of my peers, am in a serious relationship. If I was like my peers and living on my own instead of with my parents, this whole thing would not be an issue.
C) Why the hell would I get home at three to wake up two hours later just to take the bus back to Quinn's house?
D) Dad wasn't thrilled that not only did I sleep over, I stayed there all day. See above. Quinn had yesterday off, so I would have been with him all day anyway.

I hate when parents have "OMFG YOU ARE SO NOT 22 YOU ARE STILL 14 DAMMIT!" issues. *rolls eyes* I can't wait for the shitstorm that's gonna go down once I break it to dad that I'm moving out in the fall.

Anyway. Yesterday was great. Quinn came home with me on the last bus to B'ville around six and we just hung out until about ten when Jeremy came to pick him up. Actually, Quinn was asleep for the majority of the time, which I was happy about. That kid does not get enough sleep living where he does- having tried to sleep there, I now know what he's going through. I could never, never live like that. So I alternated between sleeping!Quinn and doing the dinner dishes and watching CSI.

Nick's autopsy dream = owns my soul.

And now I'm going to go take a shower. Yay for showers and going to Seven Rays with Manda and Jason.

*I use the term "dressing up" loosely. Really it was just Padme's black corset outfit tiara with my own (white) corset top and a sand colored cloak thing I had lying around. However, you totally can't tell that I'm not wearing a black corset thing in the picture. SWEETNESS.

BWAH! I should've dressed up. We had the lightsabers and everything, but we copped out.

Nonetheless: WAS IT NOT AWESOME? Did you not go, "HOLY SHIT, THIS IS AWESOME!"? I certainly did. It's like a drug, too. I need another hit. Now suddenly the prospect of that period when it's after the movie's theater run, and before its DVD release, is absolutely terrifying. What will I do for those months?!! I need to get my hot little hands on a bootleg before I start suffering from the DTs.

And Obi-Wan Kenobi is totally my boyfriend forever. The beard? The greying temples? The whole I-rub-my-face-when-I-am-extremely-upset?! Hott.

I did, in fact, go, "HOLY SHIT, THIS IS AWESOME!" The whole thing was squeeish and way made up for the first two movies- although Padme spent most of her time mooning around in nightgowns, so that was kind of disappointing for my inner costumer. Bah.

OMFG YEAH OBI-WAN. That was damn, damn wonderful, let me tell you. But I also thought that Badass!Anakin walking up the steps with the clones behind him was pretty hot, too.

Are you sure it was him? Cause he got there kinda late, so I didn't know if they'd get him or not.

Sweeeeeeet. I've got the paper so you can check that out at some point, but as for the people on the news, no one taped it. Bugger. But Tom's got some really cool pics that they took at Spencer's with the lightsabers and the fog machine, so hopefully I'll be able to post them sooner or later.

Dude, you do totally pwn3 Han. Rock that shit, yo.
