BECAUSE I LEAVE FOR SEATTLE TOMORROW AFTERNOON!!!!!!

Seriously, Jean and I were squeeing like idiots on the phone yesterday.

We're going to stay overnight in Seattle itself and then spend Sunday going around and doing things- the art museum, the open air market, and OMFG THE SPACE NEEDLE!!!! (The Dark Angel fangirl in me is thrilled at this prospect.) Then we're going up to Olympia. You can see Puget Sound and Mount Rainier from her apartment, and there's tons of cool shit to do. Party on Friday night, too :) Heh. I love me some parties.

I can barely, barely wait.

Of course, there's all the shit I have to get done before I go. I need, need, NEED to buy a black hoodie and a couple more shirts and some cargo pants. I also have to clean my room and somehow get to the mall for more body spray. How the hell this is going to be accomplished I have no idea.

Mom said I can take her camera, which I'm very happy about. The cherry blossoms are out and it's not supposed to rain until Thursday. Jean and Jeremy have to work all Monday, so I have the apartment to myself, but Jean told me that the high-speed internet access, cable, and tons of anime are all mine to play with. (However, I am going to be a good girl and bring my studying with me.)

*dances and squees*

Now, however, I need to see about getting some food. I'm starving and it's getting kind of ridiculous.

Grissom totally stole my line. I had Lady Macbeth's mad scene down in high school ([livejournal.com profile] jubei26 and [livejournal.com profile] saccarineayako rocked the Shakespeare Speaking Competition with me- [livejournal.com profile] saccarineayako won it with her outstanding Ophelia.) So when Gissom said the thing about how all the perfumes of Arabia will not sweeten this little hotel room, I was like, bitch, step off. That's MY line.

(I think I need to work on the things I'm territorial about. This happens when figure skaters use music I picked out for my programs, too.)

Anyway. I loved Sara being sneaky; I loved the whole Sara-Ecklie thing. I loved how Cath had glasses and it made her seem more human.

I thought the homeless guy was great.

Nick rocks my world. That case was so, so sad. *shakes head*

GEEKS SHOULD BE REVERED.

MUAH HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!

Have fun!!!!! Enjoy yourself!!!

BTW, have you discussed a name yet for someone? ;-) *tries to be cute and cryptic, failing at one or both likely*

If so, I can make a full update while you're gone. Still working on some ceremonial details though.

We're still looking at options, but she decided to take Ichi as the first character! *does a happy squee dance*

Gah. I had a dream about the ceremony last night. It was very, very strange because it was so real.

This whole thing is just so incredible!!!

I had a really good idea for over-the-net ceremonies, too, but I forgot it, dammit. My brain really needs to stop being full of holes.

OMG my hometown! Have a blast-We're having fabulous weather all up and down the west coast, so I bet it won't even rain.
Oh, I'm so jealous. I don't go home for another week...

I'm actually about four or five hours south of Seattle in Salem, Oregon. I'm originally from a town on an island in Puget Sound, so I'm not technically a Seattleite but I spend loads of time there.
So how long are you going to be there for? And what exactly is the purpose of the visit?
Pike's Place is fabulous when it's sunny out, so I hope the weather cooperates this weekend. And there's tons of good food there, too. Mmm.
