Part I: Pain

Sometimes the phrase "pain is weakness leaving the body" is a good phrase. The rest of the time, pain is just pain and it hurts. Word to the wise: riding buses can be detrimental to your health. Got clocked in the head twice yesterday (once on the bus, once in the living room), got whacked in the chest (on the bus on Monday), ran into two walls and a door, and smacked my elbow on the table. All this in addition to other injuries which render me pretty much unable to sit on floors comfortably. Or to sleep on my back. Or to wear a heavy backpack. (...Not that I'm really complaining, though.)

Part II: Loneliness

...Yeah. It's just there. Not much I can do about it. The next six weeks are so, so, so going to suck- my little bits of social life are going to fall by the wayside, so I can study without distraction. Which makes me sad, because, you know, I like being distracted.

Part III: All My Pretty Chickens

I am still bemoaning my incredible stupidity in leaving my CD case on the bus. Something will remind me of a song or album, and I'll be all, DAMMIT! THAT WAS IN THE CD CASE! Five years of CD's, right out the proverbial window... Ugh. Now I'm left with bits and pieces and trying to do damage control.

All my pretty chickens, in one fell swoop. *cries*

Part IV: School

I talked to Professor Owens yesterday and he okay'ed me for all the classes I want to take next semester. Yay.

Handed in my English paper, but forgot to add the citations- which is stupid, because I have them all written out in my notes. I have this habit of writing first and adding citations later, because adding the stupid things in the body of the paper breaks my concentration. So this grade will probably suck. *facedesk*

Got an A on the Sociology test I thought I failed. However, I still have two writing assignments to finish for that class. I'll proably do them later.

I have to finish my lab for tomorrow. I also have to study for my math test and finish two homework assignments and hand them in.

Oh, and I have a Criminal Justice test on Friday.

Must. Study. Chemistry. Harder. ---> I should probably take drugs to do this part.

[Note to self: register for classes for next semester]

Part V: Exhaustion

Somewhere in all this mess I need to find time for sleeping. I fell asleep twice yesterday in the living room- the second time, Mom woke me up, and I thought I had overslept and was going to be late getting to school. The point is: sleep is Feather's friend, and it's someone she hasn't hung out with nearly enough.

Part VI: The Light at the End of the Tunnel

This summer is so going to rock... at least until summer school starts.

Yay for operas and movie openings!
