1. What does your first name mean?
"Heather” means “flowering shrub.” That was unsatisfying, so I looked up the meaning of the flower itself. Came up with “admiration and beauty” “solitude” “protection from evil.” Depending on color.
2. What does your middle name mean?
"Nichole" means "Victory of the People"
3. What does your last name mean?
“Allen” means either “Little Rock” or “Handsome” in Breton. Wow.
4. So what does your name mean when put together?
Good looking flowering shrub who brings victory? Ugh. That’s pretty horrible.
5. What would you have been named if you were of the opposite gender?
Michael. My sister was gonna be Christopher. As to middle names, I don’t know.
6. Any other name oddities?
I was named after Napoleon’s horse (Nichole.) No one liked my name when they first decided on it. They thought it was weird, and my grandmother flipped about it. Mom almost named me Agnes Elizabeth. Scarily, Arwen was on the list of names for consideration at some point. Also, neither my sister nor myself have any family-related names. Everyone else does.
