Find out which TTer YOU are!
Test by Jen ([livejournal.com profile] jen0va99) and Meri.

Want To Know Which Element You Are?

Truly a rare breed, you're calm and thoughtful
but still know how to live life. Things are taken slowly but your large list of experiences (yours as well
as others) can help you adapt to new situations with little trouble or people being hurt. Unfortunately,
you're the most likely to ignore yourself over other people. Emotions rule you, and though you are quick
to kindness, your anger could scare the fiercest of creatures. Learn to relax a bit and live your own life.

Best Match: Fire, they'll pull you out of your shell and teach you plenty of things in life.

Worst Match: Water, they're too intent on their emotions to notice yours.

Streea
wasted a bunch of time making this test.

Test Results
You think of yourself as being earthreal, delicate, shimmery, and insubstantial.
Others think of you as being powerful, graceful, intuitive, and wild.
Your relationships can be described as wild, shifting, angry, and unforgiving.
When stressed, you feel empty.

Found this. Liked it, so I'm posting it. It kind of reminds me of Never is a Promise. A little bit, anyway. She sounds kind of like- I don't know- Tori Amos or Ani DiFranco or someone I can't quite put my finger on.

"Twilight"

[Verse 1]
I was stained, with a role, in a day not my own
But as you walked into my life you showed what needed to be shown
And I always knew, what was right I just didn't know that I might
Peel away and choose to see with such a different sight

[Chorus]
And I will never see the sky the same way and
I will learn to say good-bye to yesterday and
I will never cease to fly if held down and
I will always reach too high cause I've seen, cause I've seen, twilight

[Verse 2]
Never cared never wanted
Never sought to see what flaunted
So on purpose so in my face Couldn't see beyond my own place
And it was so easy not to behold what I could hold
But you taught me I could change Whatever came within these shallow days

[Chorus]
And I will never see the sky the same way and
I will learn to say good-bye to yesterday and
I will never cease to fly if held down and
I will always reach too high cause I've seen, cause I've seen

[Bridge]
As the sun shines through it pushes away and pushes ahead
It fills the warmth of blue and leaves a chill instead and
I didn't know that I could be so blind to all that is so real
But as illusion dies I see there is so much to be revealed

[Chorus]
And I will never see the sky the same way and
I will learn to say good-bye to yesterday and
I will never cease to fly if held down and
I will always reach too high cause I've seen, cause I've seen, twilight

[Verse 3]
I was stained, by a role, in a day not my own
But as you walked into my life you showed what needed to be shown
And I always knew, what was right
I just didn't know that I might
Peel away and choose to see with such a different sight

[Chorus]
And I will never see the sky the same way and
I will learn to say good-bye to yesterday and
I will never cease to fly if held down and
I will always reach too high cause I've seen, cause I've seen, twilight...

As I was shampooing my hair this morning, I suddenly got it into my head that it would be a good idea to learn to speak Punjabi.

I think the reasoning for this was something along the lines of this: our way of life is built upon a foundation of people who speak Punjabi. If they went on strike, we would have no doctors, dentist, gas stations, convenience stores, taxi cabs, etc. Therefore, I should learn to speak Punjabi to improve relations and understanding between myself and these people.

Also, then I could watch Indian movies, which I hear are quite good.

..............................................

Here's a link to the new fic I'm working on. It's a Dark Angel/LOTR crossover. Oy. It should be good though- I mean, come on, I've actually got a PLOT this time. A beginning, middle, and end ALL AT ONCE. Hell must have frozen over.

http://www.fanfiction.net/read.php?storyid=712898

..........................................

Was supposed to be thinking yesterday when I went for a walk, but I went over to Tom's house for a while and hung out there. Accordingly, mind decided to be difficult and not come up with any interesting ideas save for...well, nothing.

...........................................

Just got lectured by dad about "Them."

He saw me testing out Cobalt's new email address, which is through hotmail, so I used the address book to mail something to my other account to test it. So he's looking over my shoulder and blew a gasket that I put my name down in the address book. "They" are at the door, waiting to get me, as we speak. Jesus H. Christ on a fucking crutch.

It's so hard to be the daughter of a conspiracy theorist. A vague one, at that.
