I heart my icon to absoulute death. Death, death, death, I tell you. Anyway, here are the original lyrics (in Sindarin) of the song. The song, incidentally, is "The Evening Star" from "Twilight and Shadow" which you can find on the Return of the King soundtrack.

The song just seemed to match that episode; Sara wants Grissom and will wait for him, Grissom wants Sara but isn't going to act on it, for whatever reason. ("Arwen... I don't know what to do about this...") Either way, he's going to go off and flirt with Sofia for a while, and then he's going to wind up back with Sara. Or that's what I predict. ANYWAY. The song is on the icon because it talks about a "came close, but missed" type of situation. And that's what GS is, really.
I'm rambling now. The point is, I love my icon. *snuggles it*
