...Sorry. Sofia's American accent is driving me up the wall. It's like she can't get it quite right and it grates on my nerves. Anyway, I went and looked up the actress and she is from England. Like whoa.
She also played the manipulative ho in Hidalgo.
Whatever. I am so fed up with TPTB right now. Reading spoilers is dangerous to your health, people. Yeah, Sara is getting bigger plots and more time and stuff, which thrills me to no end, but half the reason I'm here is for the G/S ship. And Grissom is getting shippy with Sofia in the layout room- of all places- in a future episode. And of course, Sara gets jealous. I don't care what anyone says, Grissom is into Sofia. And that pisses me off.
Want to smack TPTB.

In other news, the challenge this week for CathandSara is triangles/threesomes. And I'm all, hell YEAH! because I love triangles and threesomes. So I'm thinking Kickass!Cath/Indecisive!Sara/Evil!Grissom. Because Evil!Grissom can be so much fun.
I should probably go and do my biology abstract now.

Date: 2004-12-14 04:19 pm (UTC)Meh. Sorry for teh spoilers. But here's one- apparently when G and Spork are getting all chummy, Sara sees them and gets jealous. I agree with you- either do it already or have them get on with their lives. Because it's just getting stupid at this point- you have this big setup with butterflied, and now Grissom's going to randomly chase some blonde skirt because she waves her hair at him? UGH. It makes me unhappy because then I get mad at Grissom's character, on top of being pissed at TPTB. When it's really not Grissom, it's the director telling Grissom/BP what to do.
Sara needs to just randomly go out and get laid. Christ. What these people do to each other. And at this point it's starting to take away from the cases. Blah.
Maybe Spork will get shot, like Holly. Then we can have Ecklie angst. Ecklie angst I can do.

Sometimes I want to know stuff, sometimes I don't, as in the case of one other show I watch (I just wanted to know if Character A was going to be back. Once I found out either way, I've avoided all other spoilers). And in this case I'd rather know.

Yeah, because it makes no goddamn SENSE. I mean, do they want us to believe that there's something about Sofia that gets over all the objections Grissom had with having a relationship with Sara? 'Cause at the moment, I'm not seeing what those things could be. In said cases, I get pissed off at Grissom/TPTB in about a 30/70 split. Actually, maybe more iwht TPTB cause I feel like they're forcing this character to do something he wouldn't.
I'd LOVE to know what William Petersen thinks about this plotline, cause I heard he hated the Lady Heather thing (or at least the second part of it) because he felt it was out of character.
And you're right, it is starting to take away from the cases. And while I may not want a completely procedural show, I don't want a soap opera either.

LOL. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to some fun RPing with our Sofia, and I can't wait to have Grissom interact with her, but yeah, not going to go down that road. Maybe will look down that road, but not actually setting foot on it, because at the risk of sounding as though I know the character better than TPTB, I really can't see Grissom doing that.
