It's just one of those nights that I could really use twelve hundred cc's of raw power between my legs. You know?
*grins*

I miss the desert.

I miss the way the sun would set over Phoenix. I miss the highways where no one drives under seventy, and I can't wait to hit them on a motorcycle. I miss seeing the fire mountain with all its cell and radio towers, and how heading in that direction meant that you were heading towards home. I miss watching the cars go screaming by from the top of the sound barrier.

I feel like I could fly right now, but somewhere along the line I misplaced my wings.

This song is NOT helping.

how can you see into my eyes like open doors
leading you down into my core
where i've become so numb
without a soul
my spirit sleeping somewhere cold
until you find it there and lead it back
home

wake me up inside
wake me up inside
call my name and save me from the dark
bid my blood to run
before i come undone
save me from the nothing i've become

now that i know what i'm without
you can't just leave me
breathe into me and make me real
bring me to life

wake me up inside
wake me up inside
call my name and save me from the dark
bid my blood to run
before i come undone
save me from the nothing i've become
bring me to life

frozen inside
without your touch
without your love darling
only you are the life
among the dead

all this time i can't believe i couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
i've been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
without a thought without a voice without a soul
don't let me die here
there must be something more
bring me to life

I know what ya mean. I miss Guam and the ocean so bad sometimes, I miss the air. I miss the sun,I miss the fact that there is no winter, I miss the sunsets, I miss it all, but hell for all I've ever ever said about it being on pillars and susectible to earthquakes ( which it is), I've deceided to go back as soon as I can.
What can I say I love the Islands and at heart this Roman Catholic loves people who know how to party.
Life in the Islands is so much slower than here, ( even in central NY), but it is BETTER to me.
I shall return as soon as the post office lets me get a post there.

That's cool. It's got to be hard to leave paradise, I guess. I keep thinking about moving back to Phoenix, but I need trees too much. I love it but I was dying out there, sort of. You know how it is.

Arrgh! Just one of those nights, I guess. Let's all go West.

Likie me in colorado, no trees.......
plenty of mountains and plains but no green.......
Life isn't worth living without the green.
Good thing about Guam is it's ALWAYS green.....

BAHHHHHH...........
You pine away for a place in your past as I do. Lets just go to Guam together and live in Eden as we we meant to...
Some parts of arizona are nice but they are man made.
At least where I come from we know how to have a good time, without it being contingent on how much water is available to water the grass...

Yes, but you've never had so much fun with lawn sprinklers in your life. Muah ha ha.

But hey, I'm all for Guam. Sounds like a plan.

Fuck no. I'm dragging you with me, yo. You're gonna be in my motorcycle gang, right? It's gonna be sweet. You'll love AZ. Four hours from San Diego- squee!

Speaking of which, I've got a half formed idea to run by you- something along the lines of elves in modern day America, fighting evil 'on the backstreets' so to speak. Maybe an RP? Or something?

ARRRGH!!!! WHY can't next weekend hurry up and get here! You still coming?

I have the need to be by salt water. It must be from living near the Gulf of Mexico. I have lived other places (like by a lake) but I have to have the lapping water, the seagulls, the smell. I love to fish and come home and fry them up.

Mmm fishes. Yum.

I understand about the salt water- I was born on an island and still miss it terribly, but it's the green I really can't live without, if I had to choose.

Lucky you, getting to live on the Gulf. I'm jealous :)
