Wow. I guess security is tight everywhere. They just closed down the airport garage near my house (but why a terrorist would want to waste their time with it is beyond me.) They also stopped turning on the lights on the Verrazzano Bridge which spans the Narrows going into New York Harbor, or at least they did the last time I was down there. (It's where I'm from originally; most of my family still lives there.) We're on Orange Alert still, but life is crawling on the same as always, but I'm not entirely sure what to think or do or who to believe, you know? Or what to do with a smelly fan ;) Maybe dump bleach over it?
