nirix5This is going to be a fast entry as I have to be at work soon. Ugh. We hates paperwork, yes precious, we does. But it merits posting, for the sheer je ne sais quoi of it.
Got pictures developed yesterday. Went to Eckerd's to pick them up, and the lady behind the counter held up a 5x7 of my mother and my aunts and was like "For 2.50 you can have this." So I said no thank you, and after looking at the picture for a second figured, "Oh, they must be pictures of New Years or something."
They were pictures of Aunt Doris's FUNERAL!!!!
Fuck. I had forgotten we'd taken pics of the funeral parlor and the wake, since a bunch of people were to sick to come and wanted pictures.
So there's all these pics of a dead lady in her coffin.
AAAAAAAHHHHH!
It was so weird. So very, very weird.
Then I'm going threw them and there's this one pic that's only of my aunt. The other were more of the flowers and you could see the top of her face, or she was in the background, or something. But then there she is, in her coffin. God. I shrieked and dropped it and my mom laughed at me.
For chrissakes. Can my family get any odder???
