Long time no see.

School's okay. I'm having an interesting time taking Latin and French back to back. The only snag thus far is the fact that while I can translate from Latin to English all right, I can no longer translate from English to Latin. English to Latin comes out in French. I can't seem to fix it, no matter what I do; I finally started translating from English to French and then into Latin.

History of Music would be so much better than it is if a) I knew basic music theory and b) I wasn't in a class with a bunch of snot-tastic music majors. My apologies to any music majors on my flist, but man. These people sucked when I was in high school and well hey goddamn, they still suck today. They're cliquey, they laugh too loud, and they burst into song randomly. In the morning, when I'm feeling bitter and cranky, I want to inform them that they didn't exactly get into Julliard and for fuck's sake to shut up. Maybe I'm on the defensive, though... it's two of us against twenty of them. WE'RE SURROUNDED, JERRY. AND I EVEN HAVE MY DOUBTS ABOUT YOU.

However, this class wins because today we went over a song dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the Miracle of the Pork Chops.

Islamic Spain is still TBA on general stuff. First the Moroccan professor was verbally sparing with Turks. I missed one class, where apparently they reached a truce and became friends, and I'm the bad guy- guess missing a class was a bad idea. For my presentation topic, he assigned me Christian Opression at the End of the Islamic Era in Spain. Everyone else got to do cooler things than that, like Moorish architecture and things involving science and trade routes. Bleh.

Life is getting kind of good though, cause I can finally see some kind of glimmer at the end of the tunnel career-wise. The nebulous mist of the future is slowly resolving itself into some kind of corporeal form, or something.

Anyway, I've decided to start a new blog, based on my experiences and observations involved with going back to school, although not all will have to deal with school related subjects. (Unless
you want to read essays discussing the passive voice in Latin passages. Holla.)

I'll let you guys know when its up, iffen you want to read it.

ZOMG!
