Mmmmm pajamas.
Jan. 13th, 2004 10:21 amIt’s 10:30 and I have yet to do anything constructive today, unless you count washing the dishes. And feeding my fish. I haven’t even gotten dressed yet, but I don’t particularly care as the rest of this week is going to be hectic and stressful and generally messed up. This may or may not have to do with my scraping together four hundred dollars for a class at OCC, which I have, but part is entirely in quarters, another part is in a paycheck I haven’t gotten yet and might not be able to cash, and the last part I may or may not have spent by accident.
(Splurged the other day and bought Unfinished Tales.)
Oh well. Whatever. Tess’s chorus concert is tonight. It’s also Joe’s birthday and I want to make him a cake or something. I also have to go meet Alan later (maybe) and go and open an account at the bank that will be empty by the end of the week (again, maybe, unless they approve my two forms of ID, which they probably won’t because it’s basically the same thing: a liscense and a permit.)
So will Feather be going to class? Ask not Legolas, who is sitting in a corner reading a Regency romance novel and pretending like I don’t know.
Yes, he’s still around. Still getting into things, which is why I imagined him here in the first place, I guess. So I could look at things through the eyes of someone who hadn’t seen anything like them before. Or something like that.
I love my bookshelf, but I need another one. I’m running out of space for all these books I’m buying. Unfinished Tales is the sixth or seventh one I’ve bought now.
And I’m off. Have to jump into some normal pants quick and run groceries up to Velvet’s house, since she’s laid up with a bad knee.
She’s got the cutest kitten with huge tufts of fur sticking out of her ears! Aww, so sweet.
Can I pet the kitten?
Yes, Legolas, you can pet the kitten. *rolls eyes* She’s got her own adoring fan club, if you haven’t noticed.
I am such a geek. Is that a bad thing? Not that it will change anything….
