Let’s replay today, shall we?

“Dead people!” The sound of the dragon’s voice echoed up the stairway into the tower, where the beautiful princess was peacefully sleeping.

Hey. I said replay today. Not some fucked up fairy tale.
~ Whatever you say, boss.
Damn straight.

“Dead people!” Feather’s dad yelled up the stairs at her. “Dead people! Wake up! Time for work!”

Blearily opening her eyes to what she thought was a choir but was only the sound of the rain outside, Feather groaned and pulled the blankets up around her head.

Two minutes later, “Dead people!” snapped Feather out of her wonderful choir-filled doze. Rolling out of bed, she stubbed her toe on a carpet tack, and swearing profusely made her way into the shower….

And that’s a tale for another day.

Today was slightly more exciting than most. Considering B’ville was under emergency flash flood warnings and made into an Official Disaster Area, or some such thing. Water all over the place. Dammit, where’s my flippers when I need them?!?!?

I finished reading A Winter’s Tale for the second time. I don’t know why people don’t replace the Bible with that book. It’s the most phenomenal work of fiction I’ve ever read in my entire life, and it moves me like nothing else. Every single word makes sense to me in a way that little else does… Alta would probably say the whole thing was a Feather Thought and wash her hands of it. If anyone wants a glimpse into my mind, that book is it. The end.

Likewise, this (Across The Stars, Ep. II ST) is one of the most moving pieces of music I’ve ever listened to. I SO want to skate to it, or dance to it, or something. I want it played at my wedding and my funeral.

The first few bars of “Anakin and Padme” sounds like something from the Harry Potter soundtrack. Hee.

I’m thinking about applying to the Culinary Institute of America, for chocolate/baking. Or maybe the culinary program; I don’t know, I love it all. That’s another thing I’ve been doing my whole entire life that I hadn’t even thought of going to school for. Like acting. It’s just something you do, you know? “Hey Anna, let’s pretend we’re horses…” Yeah. Anna and I can act like horses like it’s nobody’s business, lol.

Lots and lots of rain this morning, but no thunder and lightning. Pssh. I’m quite disappointed.

And I’m going out of my mind, ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!
