Goals and Hershey Kisses
Finally found out who we’re sending to the Olympics for skating. Michelle Kwan, Sasha Cohen, and Sarah Hughes. Wow. What kind of a skater am I supposed to be, that I don’t even follow the damn sport?
I’m going to call Tamara or Alta later tonight and have her send my skates back. I’ll be on the ice again by next week. I’ve got some more realistic goals right now- I want ALL doubles (including the Axel) and I want to improve my camel spin. Usually I’m either all the way on or all the way off with that one. My layback needs work too. And the dreaded backspin. I’m going to be rusty as hell when I start up again- I haven’t been on the ice more than three times in over a year. Pitiful. Just pitiful.
At any rate I’ve got some new programs to do. I’m determined to skate to Aniron, as well as something by Alicia Keys, and maybe- maybe- Dark Angel. Or Just Got Paid or something… I’ll skate to Up Against the Wall, lol. We’ll see.
